Head Start programs serve children and families that have the highest needs in our communities. The ERSEA-Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance process provides information to assist in selecting qualified families. Parents continue to be the cornerstone of the Head Start program and are provided with opportunities to particpate on all levels of programming.

  • Participants learn the connection between parent engagement, school attendance, and child's development.

  • Parents learn how parents share their voice in the Head Start programs through Parent Meeting, Policy Council, and attedning governing board meetings.
