Participants will discuss how to develop parent partnerships and family goals, increasing parent engagement in child and family services. • Participants will learn about the health supports provided to enrolled Head Start families such as Health, Dental, Mental Health and Disabilities services.

What You Need to Know

Head Start started in 1965 as an anti-poverty program for children and families. Families are supported by the Head Start staff to determine family goals and partnerships to move toward futher independence and sufficiency. Wrap around services provide added resources to support the whole family in their progress.
