Home Visiting is a unique service delivery option that provides many children & families with a teacher that supports the parent, child, and family. Home Visitors need professional developemnt that directly supports the wrok they do with families.
Participants learn about the Cycle of Planning & Observation. and how to engage parents in this work.
Helping parents to understand how to observe & assess a child's skill level objectively can be challenging. Strategies to support parents to develop these abilities are included.
The five "W"s of documentation are addressed to ensure intentional & meaningful data is collected on documentation forms.
A Documentation template is shared and discussed to facilitate conversations & reflection regarding current program documentation processes.
Certificate of Completion is awarded upon completion of course.
This course is 63 minutes long and may take a few more minutes to complete with the quizzes.
Yes, a Certificate of Completion with participant and course name will be issued after completion of course.
Yes, participants can start the course, take a break, and come back to complete the course later. After purchased, participants have access to the course for 14 days.
